It's strange, I have looked again too but can't find it... I was sure I saw it last week, but now can only find the 2012 one...

Is there a programme for the day - I don't seem to be able to fine one.
I have found this: http://www.*************/files/library/wbka_master_1359722886.pdf
But there are no times.

Edit: that link should of course be the BBKA site.

Can't even follow that link - It seems the schedule is a bit topsy turvy this year (the AGM should be interesting i think) last i heard was the guest speakers are Dr Helen crews (lecture to be confirmed) Dr Ewan Cambpell (Controling varroa by gene knockdown) and Dr Tim Sparks (recurring natural phenomena) and of course the closing beekeepers question time
Last years convention lectures were timed thus:
10.00 OPENING OF CONVENTION
10.15 Lecture 1
11.45 Lecture 2
13.45 Lecture 3
15.00 BEEKEEPERS' QUESTION TIME

Not even sure ATM the order of the lecturers

Opens at 0830 for the tea room but I'm unsure as yet what time we'll be opening the trade hall (you can try bribing the doorman for an early sneak in which he'll gladly accept - and you can then select from a variety of languages how you would like to be told to Bu**er off :D)

Sounds like its being held in a brewery, the way it's been organised.

Dusty

My brewery ticket says 8 am for tea/coffee, trade hall open 8.30 am
Talks are: Bees, Budgets and Biosecurity.
Controlling Varroa by gene knockdown.
Phenology - Is spring getting earlier.
Ending with Beekeepers Question Time
Details in Bee Craft Magazine.

I think they're calling you riff-raff, Dusty lol

I may wax my moustache especially for the occasion (unfortunately SWMBO made me trim the ends a bit before going to Venice)

I had an early night and missed this or I'd have spotted you sooner :)
Nice to meet you, JBM. Hope you managed to find the bargains you were after ...

....And nice to meet you too, Bee Crazy (even if that hive has been on my mind all the way home ;))
The white out gave us all a bit more shoulder room I suppose.

LOL Swarm,

I managed to get frames without a scrum (us English aren't very good at scrums) your more than welcome to come down and see the hive in action anytime.

Thanks to the Welsh for letting me come and not one mention of the Rugby

Nice to see you all. Had a very eventfull drive up due to poxy sat nav ended up in the lanes near the shooting range in snow drifts. Not a great lot of people there but it made it a lot easier to see the stuff. I did like the quality of those hives bee crazy
