Wax moth larvae

I found 5 or 6 wax moth larvae on the varroa inspection board of my hive. If the larvae are on the board are they likely to be in the hive? I am reluctant to open the hive to check because they are requeening at the moment.

If it a relatively strong hive then don't worry. Just remember to treat any frames from that hive that you put into storage for winter.

How long has that inspection board been in place? Take them out after you've done any mite drop monitoring
