I saw something interesting today whilst checking a colony. A worker bee pulled a wax moth larva from within the comb and dropped it effectively out of the hive, because I was holding the frame to the side of the hive.
I guess experienced Beek’s see this often, but for me it was a first. The larva was about 20mm long and 2mm diameter, I am guessing the lesser wax moth?
