I have a hive which had three full supers and a clearing board.
I left the clearing board on for a couple of days after putting an acetate sheet above it to keep the bees out.

Last night there was a wasp superhighway into one of the vents in the roof where the internal mesh had a bit of a gap.
Hundreds of the buggers!

Supers now in the Kitchen!

Incredible how many and how quickly!

Not surprising.

They are hungry and can smell the honey which is now undefended
I take clearers off after a few hours or overnight

Learning point? block up the roof 'vents' and fill roof with 40mm celotex
