Damn wasps have taken up residence in my swarm lure. It's only at head height so easily manipulated. My thoughts are to leave them until tonight and place the entrance excluder in to close it up. Is this the way to deal with it and how can I stop this happening again if possible. Thanks as always.

I found wasps had moved in to one of my bait hives. I already had my suit on so I just scooped out the nest and dumped it in the hedge bottom (as Millet suggests). No sign of any more since.

Last year was a problem with wasps trying to get into my spare equipment. I slipped up and they killed a mating nuc.
I seem to be getting odd wasps near a bait hive and a collected swarm in a nuc box.
At this time of year this ia unusual for me.
