Stung by a wasp today.
OUCH!
with a capital "F"
So why is that?
I was expecting something similar to a bee sting and was quite releaved when there was no sting left in my finger to remove.
My initial thoughts were, oh great, this will all be over quickly;
I was perhaps, a little mistaken.
It still stings over an hour later. My finger is pink, swollen, throbbing & burning like you wouldn't believe.
So why the difference?

My initial thoughts were, oh great, this will all be over quickly;
- just a short sharp zap,
- there'll be no swelling,
- I probably ought to take an antihistamine
- but no itching for days after,
I was perhaps, a little mistaken.
It still stings over an hour later. My finger is pink, swollen, throbbing & burning like you wouldn't believe.
