Tip of the day?
When our level sensor battery failed (after 7.5 yrs) I was looking for a cheaper supplier than the manufacturer at £30.
They are on fleabay at £15 to £53.
I came across a diy forum which suggested removing the cap off the 15mm copper tube and inside are 4 AAA cells.
Just insert 4 new cells "+" end first and replace the cap end.
Job done, money saved and it works.

Thanks, bound to happen to me one day! I'll try and remember!

Rab,

The nearest mains gas & water is too far and expensive to supply.

Tractor man means " natural " as in gas produced naturally from FYM... like some natural beeminders use to landscape their natural hives!

I read of an East German pig farmer who used his FYM in a digester to produce methane (CH4) and generated electricity using an old VW air cooled motor rigged up to a generator... he must have had a lot of pigs!

It's raining again
