I think I can see 13 or 14

If im correct, this is what I was looking for but what I did see threw me and I just assumed they were younger varroa's or smaller than I had imagined.
Now tell me... I got it wrong and there are about 50 lol

I counted 75 lol:rofl::rofl:

If you can get a photo of what's on the varroa tray and post it here, forum members will be able to tell you whether they are varroa mites, or not :)
If they are indeed "teeming" with varroa, then time is of the essence.

Have you taken that photo yet...then someone on here can help you identify what's on your varroa tray....:hairpull:

Sometimes I am amazed. But not often.

like me who DO READ but need a second or third or forth opinion!!!

yeah, right!

I just assumed they might be baby varroa's.

That alone indicates to me that your reading is close to zilch. There are so many references to the life cycle of bees and varroa that it could not easily be missed, if you have done as much as you indicate. You need a grasp of the very basics of the craft. Without that, you will be swimming against the tide all the time. It would be to your advantage to bury your head in a good bee book, rather than make comments about me on the internet. That might be better than getting just about everything wrong.

Get a life you sad sad man!!!

Maybe [...] they weren't Varroa after all. These were really tiny and fast crawling. They were mites, I just assumed they might be baby varroa...

I took these pictures last year.

Varroa - look like flying saucers

One varroa mite and one other creature, probably a mite of some sort, that was scavenging on the board.

P.S.
No idea what's happened. The links for the pictures are there, but the images aren't showing.

Just read through this post. If I had done anything wrong then I would understand.
All I have done is inspected my bees, Looked after them as well as I can and asked for advice. Is that my crime????????????

Mentality of some people absolutely amaze me. I hope the Admin are watching this thread.
I won't be bullied by some silly little man hiding behind a computer screen.

I did but its just a blur :-(

Okay....

Have you identified anything similar to what you see on your varroa tray, with the various photos of varroa, and links, posted on this thread by forum members?

Please check the pictures I've just found and uploaded, they might help. They're in the album I linked to in my post.

I am looking. Once found I will post :)

I have good eyesight but always carry a magnifying glass in the top pocket of my bee suit. I find it very handy (especially for spotting eggs in poor light), and they are quite cheap to buy.

There the ones!!!
Loads of them

I see they are nothing like varroa but at the time the number of them and the little bit of panic. Also they were so small I could only just see them lol

It is the varroa that matter.

If you do have deformed wings in the colony, and the bees have not been treated since last autumn, then you should be expecting that you DO have varroa there.
The first question remains - how many are dropping per day?

Well that I'll have to do tomorrow now. I'll breath and start again :)

In the meantime I am looking to find the person who runs this site to put in a complaint. To think I was about to donate but after today I will not!!!

I think you are wrong to assume that asking for advice on here is any substitute for a proper beekeeping education.

Which Association organised the beginners course that you attended?

For those that think the OP is a sensible sort.

Here is the charming PM I received from him tonight.

I bet you have a tiny little cock and you need to make yourself feel big. What a prick you are!!

I reckon he has maybe been looking in the mirror to get an idea for typing? Certainly not got it out of a book! Mind you, he is a loser, once again.
