Any comments on using an industrial vacuum cleaner for removing a nest of bees from an awkward place... cavity wall.. difficult nooks and crannies???

Nothing sucks like an Electrolux... would it suck for bees???

Apologies for :patriot::patriot::patriot: profanities before the more delicate amongst our forum brethren have yet another go at me!!!

I have heard of someone using a modified henry vaccum cleaner for collecting swarms. The Henry has a variable power setting - so you can (apparently) hoover up the bees without damaging them. Also, the inside of the pipe is smooth - unlike some other hoovers.
The modification is that you add a sealed wooden box halfway along the length of the pipe so that bees are not sucked into the hoover bag (obviously you would need to make sure the outlet from the box was covered with gauze or something similar).
The person relating this story has apparently done it many times and has never lost a swarm through using this method.

I stress that this is just a story I have heard. I have never seen it in practice and, personally, would not want to try it.

Thanks GBH !!!!
