Using fondant for stimulating brood rearing and grafting.

Hi, I was wondering as I only use fondant to stimulate early build up in a colony, will fondant be OK to use for starter and finisher colonys?

1 to 1 sugar syrup seem to feed starters and finishers ok
Use Fonda bee FRUC last season in Keilers... bees liked it just as much as Bakers best!

No.
Syrup simulates a nectar flow in a different way to fondant.

Thanks, I don't plan to use pollen subs either as there is always good pollen frames to be had.
I will use syrup then cheers.
