Yes. Use a honey scented oil but then it’s not unscented
The longer you keep the cappings before cleaning them the stronger the natural scent.
The cappings from May I recently cleaned smell much more intense than the same I cleaned earlier

Same here some of my cappings has fermented even .
Natural wax melts no scented oil is ok then ?

heather cappings also retain the strong honey scent for years after rendering
 
Thornes mainly the tea lights are bigger than your norm home made
Still trying to perfect them probably a bit thin that and poring them to slow .

It amazes me how much capings wax has just gone into those in the photo processing etc😥
