Thanks, just really trying to get my head around what shows there are on where.

Does sound like the BBKA one could be the one to go to.

And a Big congrats to me ...from me on reaching my 1000th Post !!! :D

You cant beat a bit of self Praise !!!! :D :D

What about on your own doorstep at Gormanstown from july the 24th-29th,its the 70th year and always has plenty of gear at it, with the euro rate and me north of the border its brilliant, with the exchange rate last year i was able to pick up 10 national manley frames for £7 and they weren't seconds.
On top of all that you have the guest speakers too.

Darren

There you go, Bee Bumble has kindly provided details of that show in Sweden.
The trade stands in Gormanston might look impressive, but are as nothing compared to what will be at Harper Adams or Beetradex. There will be lectures and talks at the former but not at the latter, thus the difference in cost.
Thomas are French manufacturers of excellent repute, their bee suits were very hard wearing. Lega are an Italian manufacturer, I have no personal experience of their products, but have no reason to doubt their quality. These are possibly the European traders alluded to in an above post.
I would like to see an exhibition of German and Polish equipment again some time. I attended one once, it was small and specialised, but very impressive.

Thanks V.Much

Very informative, just the sort of info I was looking for. As it is such a large industry in France, Italy, Germany etc. Knew there had to be some fairly large scale shows. They are the sort I would love to attend.

Tickets booked for Tradex, suits my schedule this year.

"Red Eye" flights in and out.

Many going from here ?

Yes: third time in a row.. (which says something).

What about in Other European countries , any big shows coming up known of ?

http://spos.info/viii-drzavni-pcelarski-sajam/

27th - 28th February Belgrade, Serbia.

Equipment
Innovations
Lectures
Honey

Lot of beeks from mostly eastern Europe.
Prices some of equipment double/triple cheaper ( some of excellent quality but some better don't buy..).
In Croatia was last week. I attended it.

Pics are from couple years ago from Belgrade..

An old Chestnut... but there is a show in Italy in October .

Cannot seem to find details anyone know of, or any others home or. Abroad coming up worth considering ?

Yeah thinking of that too, only downside is it might be mostly American Trade Based in relation to companies exhibiting.

As opposed to the European format that would probably be present in Turkey.

On cold hard practicality, Beetradex is the best and the earliest. I know it is not abroad but airfares plus import duties make a Langstroth brood box bought in the US rather expensive...and no one in their right minds outside the UK would sell an abomination like a National hive :winner1st:
