I was going to make a joke but think the forum sarcasm meter would go into overload.
 
I was considering running the TBH starter strips in a national to see if that works, anyone tried this?
 
realli nice pics, i got to surf the forum a bit more to get an idea how does TBH works ( mainly honey extraction, overwintering and renewing combs)
if it's worth the trouble will build one during the winter:)
 
just to further confuse matters, here's my second top bar hive - which is awaiting a swarm!

a "Warré" hive - which is what comes of reading into "Nestduftwärmebindung"

(honey extraction? - bucket, stick, pair of tights or curtain..........):)
 
Smart looking hive Bros,and the site looks really good as well.
 
I suspect it was a prime swarm

It is certainly a prime swarm as there is sealed brood visible in the centre of the second photo from your 10 day inspection. She must have been laying immediately in the top bar Hilton.
