Guys, seriously we (me) should try and maybe regulate ourselves, a gentle kind comment might settle a situation down and hopefully prevent it from getting out of hand.

Not particularly aimed at anybody but all it takes is one person ( not one in particular, either) to not rise to the bait and there would be no mud slinging.

Seriously though, at times there is some carp written on here which needs to be challenged.
I find some threads rather tedious so never bother reading them. But to read something that cost you nothing and then moan about the content.......mmmmm

To answer the OP. Bees only build wax for one of two reasons.

1). To brood in, and
2) to store nectar (or even honey, if it is provided for them!).

It is only early August. What makes you think it might be too late?
