I also saw some beautiful solitary bees on the dandelions too. Wasn’t able to get a photo but will try and identify them from memory.

I live in a place surrounded with them. I walk through a field of them twice a day. Nothing. I can only presume there are better pickings! Or so many they are not on the ones I am looking at!

I can report the same but looking at the pollen loads and smelling the hives in the evening that’s exactly where they are
