Hi,
After much deliberation I have decided to stop beekeeping for now due to time, losing an out apiary location and having to squeeze the bees into my small suburban garden.
I have three hives I would like to sell, one has a 2022 queen marked yellow and is the mother of the other two hives, one has a marked red 2023 queen and the other is currently requeening (I'm expecting to find eggs any day now).
The bees are locally bred, pleasant in their behaviour and nice to work with and produce a good crop (the larger hive has already filled a super so far this spring).
I think something in the region of £200 per hive for just bees on frames, of if you wanted to buy them with the equipment cedar deeps and supers hives only a few years old and lots of drawn super comb from previous years £300 per hive.
Any inspections are welcome, the bees have been treated by oxalic acid vaporisation and were given a clean bill of health from the beebase inspector last year.
