A guest left two slices of buttered toast this morning, white toast.
Offered to the dogs, our discerning hounds licked off the butter and left the white toast alone.
Yesterday whilst feeding the ducks they nosed from our hands dry brown home made bread before we could give it to the ducks.
Julie said she had to laugh at the white being left.
I should add we buy in the white and make the brown on site and the waste from the breakfasts is kept in a bag and when enough off we go "ducking" to feed (primarily) the ducks and try to give the drakes a bit less.
