Left pocket - frame spacers (usually end up with the odd DN 1 frame needing spacing turning up in the Hoffmans! or some taken off when they shouldn't be there), bits of wax gleaned whilst inspecting. Left leg pocket - lighter, bits of wax. Right leg - queen marking parphenalia, bits of wax. Right pocket - penknife, bits of wax. Breast pocket queen cage, pen and err bits of wax!

queen catcher and marker

After today I think I'll be doing this seeing as I wasted nearly an hour trying to locate the queen after losing her after spotting her :(

As for the OP, I keep a phone and keys in my pocket when inspecting. All my kit is in a small bag.

Nothing. Put the lot of it in a box so I can wash the suit without emptying pockets.

:iagree:

Same here - except that I carry spare nitrile gloves.

It would be fatal for me to put car keys and mobile phone in my suit;
they would be in the rinse cycle before I remembered.

I have a large tote bag that carries almost all I need;
frame holders and hive tools are in a separate box, with water and a scrubber.
Three or four crown boards, smoker and off we go.

Beginning of the year I had a blue posca pen in my pocket, forgot about it and put beesuit through the wash, when it had finished found pen still in the pocket. No leaking and pen still works.
