Swarm prevention in confined apiary

Hi

I have recently returned to beekeeping and have three hives in a very small apiary - a small plot surrounded by fence panels. I do not have an out apiary and am struggling to work through a anti-swarming strategy. I am familiar with the artificial swarm procedure and have used it in the past but in the confines of my site I am concerned that there will be accidental rather than designed drifting.

My first thought is that maybe you're pushing it with 3 hives?

I started with a 10ft by 8ft space and used the Snelgrove method for AS.
i.e. the AS swarm goes on top over the original hive.
