when adding a second supper would you leave the fiirst at top or bottom?.
regards paul

You can do either, but generally "under-supering" where the empty super is put underneath the full one is considered best. This is because it gives the bees more room and they don't have to walk over the capped stores to reach it, which is what happens if you "over-super", putting the new one on top of the stack. The problem with under-supering is it takes more effort as you have to lift off all the full supers to fit the new one.

"suppering"

we usually only add a second "supper" if we ate very early in the evening, are staying up late and 1st supper wasn't enough to fill us up.
