Why is that scary? Just because things happen once is no indication of its likely to be repeated.
And I'm not in the same profession as he was.... I'm honestly not worried at all.
Certainly not looking to get hold of a weapon anyway.

He must have been in a dodgy profession to get brutally murdered! What was he a professional nonce? If not then Id be worried what kind of area I was living in. I live in a high crime area and I know of nobody that's been brutally murdered in such a way. Where you live
 
He was in a very reputable profession but was murdered by people who were jealous of what he had....

so they were jealous of his job title not where he lived or social class?
 
We live in a low crime area. Unsolved murder from 1979 though...
 
I'm really really glad my apiary is at home on the farm, out of sight and cannot be approached without passing several covert and other CCTV cameras. I'd be devastated if I had a remote apiary and suffered theft.

Snap..and at the end of a no public access dead end track and dogs that bark if a flea farts..:D
