He is also blatantly unaware that it's only taxed until September if he doesn't sell it. Under neew Road fund regulations, the minute he signs the vehicle over it isn't taxed as taxation is now non transferrable

Also seems aware that people stop and look at it because its filthy, or that the luton part is likely to get blown apart if you drive it..

The only Bedford's I know of is a CA or a CF, I did like the CF 2.3 petrol's but a bugger to change the points

And an auto engine, too. Is that an early form of driver aid that starts the engine, a bit like cruise control that drives the car without agency of driver? ;-)

My initial impression was that Rose was a female who was not very mechanically minded or vehicle savvy. Of course, I could have been wrong, but first impressions count, so they say. 'Fluffy' at least.

I am now thinking Walton on Thames must be in Essex.
