"Both said the same, any splits we get we put in the staff canteen and the staff use them for their brews!"

amazing - first they're accused of using slave labour; now they're admitting to giving their valued staff soiled produce that is unfit for sale!

Approached my local Tesco last September and have been receiving 'spoilt' sugar since then. We supply 20 kilo buckets printed with 'Sugar for bees' on the side and every Friday morning we collect what is available from Customer Support. It seems a great pity that anyone should wish to send sugar like this to landfill given the on-going media coverage on bee populations.
The only foreign material found in the sugar so far have been small amounts of paper.
