I got my first pair of goatskins recently because Dani mentioned putting nitriles over them to keep them clean. Far too sensible a thing for me to come up with! I remember a push (from the NBU?) to encourage retailers not to stock leather gloves because of the difficulty of cleaning them. Apparently it was too clever an idea for them too!How about those gloves with nitriles over & change the nitriles between hives to avoid washing soda on your skin?
I like to wash my gloves and tool between hives so I've always used waterproof gloves. If you ever need thicker gloves, putting nitriles on top gives the best of both worlds.
