All my national hives have this built in already, its called a ventilated roof and crown board with holes. As these features seem to work well enough I doubt I'll be buying one for awhile. :smilielol5:
 
Don't you think that our bees might have worked out how to ventilate for themselves?

If you were interested to try it, could be made very cheaply with a metal screen under crown board feeding hole, pc case fan above with thermostat powered from ac/dc converter although not stated what temperature fan cuts in.

Although I suspect it cuts in at 70 degree Fahrenheit

Bee Cool hive ventilators will change the air in the hive 7 times per minute if hive temperature is 70 degrees and above and there is enough UV rays for the solar panel.
