Here's a thing. I have no probs when spinning other honey, but when pressing heather, my hand itch like hell. Anyone else have this?
 
Just what I was going to say and...........

Rather than "extract" why not do cut comb? Higher retail value too. :)

I have to say that pressing HH was my worst beekeeping job. I hated it.

I have an allergy to propalis - If I don't wear gloves when removing propalis from brood/super boxes prior to scorching them I come out in very small blisters that itch like mad for about 3 days. Anyone else suffer odd allergies?
 
I do make cut comb with most of it, but the partially capped stuff needs pressing. Just thought it a little odd to have such a reaction to one type of honey. Fantastic idea about the gloves, why didn't i think of it?:D
