Hi, tried to move the hive yesterday evening but the the top of the frames are coming away from the rest of the frame what is a"" Bailey" move, sorry to sound soooo green. is this now a two man job? Terry

A Bailey exchange is when you put a brood box of foundation above the bees, feed and get them to draw the wax and move in. It is a late spring manoeuvre.
I would build the hive a cosy and sort it next year.

if they want them moved this side of xmas, why not just strap up the hive without going inside and move it, worry about changing stuff over next year
