I was out visiting yesterday afternoon and took a short cut through a local country lane.
The first picture I took after pulling over onto a grass verge, the yellow/white is bee poo on the windscreen.
The second picture was from a cottage garden.
I knocked the door to inform the owners they had something in the garden in an apple tree that was of interest to me and would they like it removed.
The swarm is now with a local association member(a very nice lady) who lost a hive that was queenless a couple of months back, she is now a beekeeper again.
(Yes I need to change the date on my camera).
