Hi everyone, I didn't check back in 3 days, as EricA advised but only got a chance to do so today. The chosen QC is sealed and looking good but there are lots more QCs again, including sealed ones and some cups in the middle of the frames like emergency cells - I didn't see larvae in them. What should I do now? When the Q emerges will she destroy the other cells or will she swarm?

If that was my hive I would take out ALL those extra cells or risk them swarming with the first virgin.
That's the point of going in to inspect before your chosen cell emerges

Why not buy a queen? Reliable, cheapish and sort of guaranteed to lay?
