I cannot agree with this max of 22 days. I have known successful mating as late as 30.

However that was AMM in Scotland.

Comprehensive stuff- only thing it doesn't mention is how many mating flights a day the queen may take - any ideas?
 
Yes - but it doesn't say over what timescale this happens. What I was meaning was how many times per day will she go on a mating flight- or is it strictly once a day?

It makes them usually in 2-3 days.

I have seen that if second day is rainy, queen continues mating on third day.
 
The yanks, ausies and kiwis always seem to quote short times before their queens are laying - lucky bas..ds !
