Went through one of my colonies yesterday 25.5.22 that swarmed on 14.5.22. Good job I did as there were a number of ripe cells, In fact three hatched while doing inspection.
however one cell had me perplexed! (see image) any suggestions
It appears to have hatched and been resealed , I didn’t have the presence of mind to open it at the time as I was somewhat busy

Now have three caged virgin queens & requeened a queenless hive with another queencell on a frame Unfortunatley there was also a hached queencell in the hive, so am now waiting to see wether I got them all during my inspection. Hopfully I now have two colonies with new virgin queens. When the weather warms up Ill find out!
