Propolis

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone had any experience of collecting propolis? If you do, how did you collect it? In a propolis screen? Worth doing?

I throw any propolis scraped off with a hive tool into my raw wax bucket.
Then when cleaning and filtering the wax with a steamer, the propolis separates in a layer immediately beneath the wax, and can be easily collected from there.

I did! I had a good look around there. they have quite a set up! Explained really well too
