Leaves are about 2.5 feet tall. No signs of a flower yet. Just popped up in the garden

My parents grew lots. It was one of my jobs as a youngster to grate the stuff to make sauce with grated cooked beetroot. I use to do it outside with tears streaming down my face.Pity cos I would have said horseradish too! A real thug to get rid of once established!

If it is elf dock, it start to flower in 2nd year if I recall right. I leave some at our property and around beehives. It is dear to me.. Very healthy herb also. But for now I just let it grow.. Somehow, taking its root I would feel sad.. When necessity occur I will do..
