Don't pay more for your glucose than you need to
Glucose powder 450g @ £1.39 at the local chemist. Much cheaper, no difference in usage or quality, just the price. I use between 100g and 150g per kilo of sugar.
I don't knead my fondant, but pour it into an opened out juice/milk carton which neatly holds the fondant made with 1kg of sugar.
You didn't think that the commercial people kneaded their fondant before bunging it in those blue bags in the boxes, did you?
