Painting hives

Hi could anybody give me some advise on what's the best paint to use to paint my hives,or is there any special paint i need,thanks

[REDWOOD]

wood paint 2 coats of the 5 year stuff and then 2 coats of the garden shades paint, only on the outside and leave a few weeks to dry in an airy place
