Ideally 3 to 5.
A few weeks back I had some problems with a rather feisty hive. The suggestions were stores (extremely low at the time) and space as it's a big colony. So I added a super back on and fed like mad. They are now extremely healthy and (almost) like teddy bears. The super is fairly full, obviously with syrup though. Am I OK to acid vape with the super on or should I remove it whilst I go through the 3 treatments? I'm not sure if there is any possible wax contamination issue from the acid ... thinking forward to wanting to use those frames for honey production all being well in the spring.

EU studies show there is no extra residue of OA in honey when treated, so doubt that wax will be tainted either. As an every day organic substance found in various other food sources as well as honey I doubt there is any contamination of wax to consider.
