Thanks. I'm on Langstroths. Do you think there would be any demand for Langstroth nucs?

Yes a bit. I've picked up about a dozen orders this year without advertising. (Making nucs is not my aim but still happy to do it if somebody twists my arm). I get the impression Langstroth is growing in popularity, possibly because Murray is shifting the poly hives at Stoneleigh?

Not really. Langstroth is a brill hive and given my free choice is my choice. Hands down.

Murray was selling a lot more Nats than Lang. And Smith a very distant third.

Well i have had two suppliers let me down so far this year, i was told they would be doing langstroth this spring, so i put my orders in, and once again they did them all in national.


I actually think demand would be greater than you realise.

 

[Mission]

I often think Mike gets a rough ride from people, but he brings most of it on himself. He gets very argumentitive in forums and often goes on personal attacks when he feels threatened. At times he simply does not do himself any favours. Its a shame really because he runs a very successful business that is loved by some and lothed by others. The product that he sells is reported as being very good.
