Nicot cell cups - reuse or not?

I seem to remember reading a post that advised not to reuse Nicot cell cups but an old-time beekeeper colleague has the opposite view. Do others reuse the cell cups and, if so, how do you clean them prior to reuse?

If I can clean them up without much damage to the interior I reuse.
Testing - half a bar new, half clean reused - and left in raising hive for 24 hours before grafting - showed no difference in acceptance.

But that was a once only trial so maybe not statistically significant and maybe lucky.
