Well had a day at Sparsholt College on Bee Health with lectures by Bee Inspectors on EFB , AFB , varroa mite and small hive beetle, with lab session looking at AFB and EFB comb all I can say is if offered this take it up as it is very informative and well worth while.

Yes. It is worth doing. All regions offer disease days. I always urge beginners to go.
