We are now offering within the Shop Area of our Website "Custom Personalised" labels for Beekeepers and Honey Production.

We are have been already supplying products and labels for other areas, businesses and hobbies for our customers to personalise their items (or pride and joy) online with many happy customers and testimonials, these range from Clocks to Cars and Racing Bikes to Planes! After being asked by Family and Friends who are keen beekeepers to help design and produce labels for their honey and products to help them sell in markets and shops with a more professional look than the current thermal printed rolls on the market currently which are fairly limited in design, while helping Beekeepers produce Show Winning honey.

This allows Beekeepers to produce a far more professional product selling in Markets, their Customers and to Shops and the Label Sells the product and their Honey gets the repeat business.

We are printing only in Full Colour on Quality Vinyl which first provides a better look and feel and second is far more durable than the paper labels vastly available on the market and will give you a far better presence when you label your Jars with your Name and your Location.

We give the option to print a Best Before Date or Leave Blank, along with your address for tractability and future orders. We can also include your Lot/Batch number if required.

We can offer any provenance or location that you require, please contact us if you would like to add your county or location. Also size and weight are fully customisable, feel free to contact if you need a specific weight or label dirmensions also. Costs are low at around 7p a label including postage costs which is more than competitive for a superior product!

Finally, we can also produce specific and individual labels and tamper seals for specific jars, sizes or custom labels with photos of your apiary or location for a totally unique and personal design.

I'm not sure that you should be using this forum to advertise your business.

If I were to advertise a honey labelling business, I'd show an illustration that had hexagonal comb oriented correctly. Points of the hexagon on comb are at the top and bottom not at the sides. However, if you drag a hexagon from the "shapes" of a drawing program, it's generally wrong for beekeeping. Not a lot of people know that but a honey label specialist should!

I have supported the Forum as required to allow me to post my advertisement and as a forum user I am happy to support any user that needs my input or help. I have not just spammed this forum with advertising!

The images used are an example, I am not an expert on honey production or am I advocating I have any knowledge, particulary not to your high level. But I am on labeling and graphic design, I have many happy customers that are using my designs successfully as an illustration of their product that the average Janet and John on the street does not know which way the honey comb is orientated or worry them when buying from a market, stall or shop.

If you want a labels produced with the orientation changed feel free to purchase

If you know about labelling regs then perhaps a lot number might be considered.
Have you read the recent discussion about words like "Pure?"

Yes understand the requirements for Lot number, some people apply with a label gun sperately and some people if they are producing at a higher quantity include the Lot number (or batch code). This is all configurable when buying either way.

Again on the Pure honey subject I already know this from talking with family members that are Bee Mad and again we can produce this as required or change to a different type as required to meet peoples needs.

We have had members offering a label service before so I am happy to allow the post.

I can't allow links as it's not fair on other label makers who are forum members,the main beekeeping companies included.

In the past I have seen that a subtle approach can be most helpful in getting members to buy beekeeping goods in the long term.

Other members who offer services and sell goods become long term members with help and support,in your case regarding how to print labels at home and what text is needed to pass health rules.
The sales from members will then come who don't want to print at home or don't have the machines to do so.

Take off the sales hat and pull up a chair is my advice.

Well the post is in the for sale section of the forum and the rules have now been applied by Admin so we should be charitable.

It's never been a forum where there has been anyone much pushing a particular supplier - most discussions about products are very balanced and the pros and cons well documented - the current thread on Poly hives is a great example of how points of view are put forward. Admin runs a tidy ship and the few who have trangressed over the years have been pretty swiftly despatched.

New Label Designs Examples

Apart from the insect and comb inaccuracies (and though long after this topic has died) I feel the need to be blunt: the amateur design of these labels is easily and by some stretch the poorest I've seen for long time and makes the outdated labels put out by Thorne look cutting edge. Avoid.
