I am looking at 2 back up sites as suggested and yes I'm serious about doing things properly, do have consideration for others (even if their cats fill my garden with poo) however I do have a sense of humour which does occasionally ruffle a few feathers

Now, thats where I draw the line: cats poo in the garden is a health hazard. Neighbours who have cats should keep them on a leash! ;-)

Good ... No feathers ruffled here ... I'm very much a live and let live beekeeper but we've seen a few disasters on here over the years where new beekeepers have trod a path that some very experienced beekeepers would fear to tread - and have got themselves into all sorts of difficulties. Often the advice given is like the old irish joke about someone who asks the way to Cork to be told by the irishman he is asking 'Well I wouldn't start from here !'.

Shutting the door after the horse has bolted is, at times, a lot more difficult in beekeeping than some other hobbies ... things move very fast when they happen and it's a lot easier and cheaper (usually) if you have some contingency in place. It's a very steep learning curve and virtually everyone on here will have had an OMG moment or two when they first start.

Sounds like you are doing things properly.

Yep, for NI training at Thetford........

Only UK posting I had was NI. :ot:

Can't remember where "Tin City" was in BAOR, Sennelager comes to mind, then again there was the refresher at Balykinler.

Must be early onset altzimers! :ohthedrama:
