Mystery bug.

Hello all,
I met this guy whilst out walking, Does anyone know what he/she is ?
Location was out at Lake Vrynwy, Mid Wales.

This is where you will find him hiding amongst the pics, he is on the road.
A long beetle with yellow spots on .

The pic is now in my Album, So it should be viewable there too.

See here. and ladybirds dont have a nymph stage from larvae they pupate and emerge as beetles. Only water laid eggs have a nymph stage.

Yes, Thats definately the one, It was a bit camera shy and kept turning round.
I took a good picture of a large caterpillar with horns in the same area , But then a car came along and the caterpillar was squished, it was terrible. pic of the healthy caterpillar is being added to my album now.
