My set-up at end August

The welcome note suggested I share my set-up, so please find attached!

There are 3 main colonies in double brood Swienty hives and 3 nucs in various combinations. All have feeders on at the moment. The one on the bench at the end was a late surprise; I will find a better stand before the winter.

5 of the 6 are this year's queens bred on site; the 6th is from a swarm. And yes, the nettles need a strim, but the bees are being extra-feisty at the moment so they can wait a bit longer!

I would also keep the chair welcome , nettles are fine I’ve turned up a a site after a few weeks maybe longer to find brambles covering nucs
