Just find a local deli or farm shop and see what they are selling it for.

Personally I would aim high, if it's a quality product you will soon get repeat business by word of mouth.

Looks lovely. Smart jars, too :)

i don't like hexagonal jars - can't get honey out of corners easily, and you don't want to waste any

dying to try some heather honey though.

Don't buy any from Big Long Darren then
:D

Doesn't need to be show quality to sell.

Depends what you strained it through.

I'm no expert but mine goes through one of the stainless double mesh strainers, the type that has extending arms that sit on the honey bucket.

i sell 12oz jars of heather honey in my butchers shop for £4.49 a jar runny honey £3.49 for 12oz but it is bought in from a honey farmer

Looks like beautiful stuff.

Start at a high price and establish yourself as a quality producer.
You can always come down if you need to.
It's a lot harder to put the price up

the jar holds 8oz,would £6 a jar be fair?
Darren

That would be a bit steep for round here, £4.50/8oz for heather honey is about right in West Wales.

i just crushed and strained it,i dont think its show quality, very cloudy.
Darren

Bubbles all the way through heather honey is a sign of quality.

And don't forget to put a high quality label on them that complies with the current standards.
