moving wild colony in winter

I've spotted a wild colony in someones roof that is going to be ripped up in November. Could it be possible to save it then or would it be too cold?
I don't think he wants me to lift the roof sheets now or I would give it a go.
 
Could they be persuaded to wait till Spring??- it will prob see them off to move them now- unless a BIG colony with lots of stores to bring with them
November far too late
