Having just evicted a mouse family from an unused nuc box I think mine are going on this weekend.

I have heard all the stuff about pollen knocked off and so on and no doubt there is a crumb here and there of truth in it but this I know for a fact, the wrong rodent will kill your colony nae bother a ta... so be warned.

It's preventable.

Hear hear poly hive I know I'd rather not take the risk - mouseguards on and no reducer so bees can easily haul out dead bees - there'll be hundreds of those.
