Here a another mouse guard... after filling the wasp traps with beer, cut open the empty beer cans with a pair of scissors. Take the top and bottom off and then make a length ways slit. Nail them around the hive stand legs. IF you dont like drinking the beer ask a friend to empty some or get them out of any hedge.

i did that, i had a quick look through, lifted the floor, then put the mouse guards on
