It's midnight -Just come back from the chapel after checking and stoking up the fire - getting in a few hours sleep before going back up there to open the graveyard gates, open the shutters ,sort out the fire and lighting the candles for the first arrivals.

Just got back fom the Midnight service - cathedral pretty much full.
Back for the early services, then the main Christmas day service.
Great honour to be involved and to be able to take part in leading these occasions.
