OK so this is a strange idea brought about by not having built a solar wax melter as intended.
Well as I got into my car recently I thought why not put the back set down and put my wax into suitable tray and do it in the car. As long as your careful not to get spillage why not? Does it get too hot? Could simply open a window to cool down.

When I got into the car yesterday, it said 38degrees C. Thats pretty hot so, on days like this, it should be easily possible to melt wax. Just be very careful not to spill any. It doesn't come off easily. You might get a few complaints from SWMBO about the smell too (personally I like the smell of beeswax though).

Watch for bees trying to get in the air vents! And I wouldn't leave a window open, it will fill with bees!

If you have any honey in the wax, you will attract bees and wasps..

And you will spill it. Stains leather I believe.
