Thing is , we let these people get away with it. I am in the food trade and I really find it hard to understand the things that these big company's get across in to the minds of the general public. And it will get worse

Agree on the breakfast, not too bad. But the burgers are a little too strange

I am amazed at the good comments re a Plastic Mac Breakfast.

I would rank the breakfast as worse than anything else.
"Mc-Sausage" - A Salty flat disc that in no way resembles "Sausage"
"Mc-Egg" - A slightly softened ice-hockey puck - only resembles "egg" in colour
"Mc-Muffin" - Solidified shaving foam - or possibly bath sponge

With most of the other cr*p you at least know what it is meant to be.

I was told once the most expensive part (to Mac'ds) of a complete "Burger Meal" (Including drink, packaging et al) was the..................

Lettuce!!

Cut out the middle man.... buy a burger and flush it straight down the loo

Certainly a healthier option for most. Just better still, not to spend the money that way in the first place. A collection of fruit/veg would be a far better buy.

I always think of it as a treat if we drive somewhere civilised and call into "the irish" restaurant. Mmmh, vanilla thickshake washing down salty fries, beats the seaweed and limpits which is our usual diet.

As a professional sausage maker (for a family butchers) I can honestly say the sausage patty is not as bad as a lot of sausages I've tried (Richmonds come to mind - bluegh!) BUT the good news is we make our own version at our stall at borough market called the triple M. A real sausage is worth the extra money imho.
